STRATEGY, BRAND, CULINARY
Mariela hails from Puerto Rico, and relocated fifteen years ago to complete a Bachelors in Architecture from Cornell University and a Post Professional Masters in Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design - where she focused on the intersection of food, agriculture, and design.
Over the past decade, Mariela has focused on creating unique experiences through a multidisciplinary design approach. Her work in hospitality, strategy, branding, interior design, and architecture has allowed her to develop holistic brands, including hotels, restaurants, retail, and healthcare. Some of the key projects she has worked on include the brand repositioning of and interior design strategy for Memorial Sloan Kettering and the design of Le District.
Since 2010, she has focused on making cooking easy and delicious for everyone at Tasty Plan - an online food journal. In 2017, Mariela published Coseena, a how-to guidebook for winning at dinner as a limited edition kitchen booklet.
STRATEGY, BRAND, INTERIORS
Originally form Madrid, Maria is an architect, interior designer and brand strategist. Over the past decade, Maria has worked across disciplines, with a focus on hospitality projects including hotels, healthcare, restaurants, and food halls.
While in Spain, Maria co-founded her own architecture office, GMTmas, achieving several international awards. In 2013 she relocated to NYC, where she completed her Masters in Advanced Architectural Design at Columbia University. After graduating, she joined the ICRAVE team as an interior designer and brand strategist.
In 2017 she launched her own design practice, TheDreamLab, an incubator for creative ideas that blurs the lines between art, architecture and branding design. Maria runs TheDreamLab in parallel with collab-oh!, allowing her to continuously test design ideas and develop a unique personal aesthetic.
INTERIORS, HOSPITALITY, REAL ESTATE
Dessislava has over 12 years of design experience in hospitality, real estate development and interior design. Bulgarian born, Singaporean raised and educated in Austin, TX. Dessislava holds an Interior Design degree from the University of Texas, School of Architecture. She founded d s l v studio, an interior design company in 2014, and focuses in high-end residential and hospitality projects.
Dessislava is passionate about solving problems creatively through elegant designs. Some of her key projects include overseeing the River Park Development, spearheading strategy and renovation for Hotel Beacon and designing the new additions to Hotel Saint Cecilia.
Her previous experience includes Design Director of Morgans Hotels, and interior designers at both ICRAVE and Gensler.
Kim Fuerth is an experienced operations consultant, working closely with company founders and CEO’s to develop sustainable business models while maintaining integrity to their unique vision. After graduating from New York University with a BA in Sustainable Design, she began her career at Juice Press, spearheading store openings, hiring and training staff during their rapid retail expansion, bringing store counts from 6 to 24 in just over a year. She impacted the West Coast as Regional Retail Operations Manager for Moon Juice in LA, opening their Flagship store on the prestigious Melrose Place and developing an interactive staff training program. She launched her retail operations consultancy in 2014 and has supported various businesses around the country in streamlining existing retail operations, store/restaurant openings, menu development and product innovation.
In addition to her operation work, Kim is also a certified Yoga Instructor and Holistic Health Coach. At her coaching practice, HealSimple, she works individually with high-performers (from CEO's to professional athletes) to lay out the groundwork for leading an optimized lifestyle.
